"The concept of a hybrid family of humans and dogs was meticulously developed through four autonomous artworks, where the artist gradually constructed a techno-poetic narrative. In her first installation, the focus was on non-verbal trans-species communication. In the second artwork, she trained herself to establish a reversed human-animal relationship, allowing her to embody the role of the kin with wolves, to be eligible to perform the act of dog motherhood by breastfeeding her puppy in the third artwork..
The transversal act involved the hybridization of the artist's reproductive egg cell with a somatic dog cell in vitro. The hybridized cell opened up a variety of possible interpretations, connecting the mythology of human-dog/wolf relationships present in every human culture on Earth to trans-species hybridization as a potential strategy for human survival on a massively overpopulated planet."
