One of the first artist that influences our curatorial approach was Marcel-li Antunez Roca, a former co-founder of the legendary Spanish theatre group La Fura Dels Baus. We have hosted several of his solo artworks, starting with the exhibition La vida sin Amor no tiene sentido where pig skin, hearts and tongues were used to sculpt three different installations. The spiritual connection between Kapelica and Marcel-li resulted in his next appearances featuring his investigations in human-machine coevolution starting with his interactive performance Epizoo, performative concert with remote instruments MUT and an eco-skeleton Requiem that would allow him to perform even after his death.
