The Museum of Vestigial Desires is an experiment in writing, reading and linking that performs the role of a playful text-based museum written in the Kirby Content Management System software. It archives the artists reflections and notes on cinema, everyday experience, speculations to posit a fictional institution that performs itself through a kind of playful grandiosity. The artist also makes himself available (by appointment) for chat based interactions and conversations on the website.
Prayas Abhinav is a writer, editor, publisher and an artist based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, who has been using software and the architecture of the internet to create and publish art works since 1999
