2000 The Concise Lexicon of the Digital Commons is an A-Z of the relationship between social, digital and material space written as a hyper-textual instrument.

The Embroidered Digital Commons (the physical network of embroidered texts that has ground around the Concise Lexicon as a ‘Recension’), which is part ‘b’ of this entry, says that - “…the lexicon weaves together an evolving metaphorical language of common ownership, common use and access in physical space and across digital platforms.”

Raqs Media Collective makes art, thinks, teaches, listens and acts to discover cognitive and affective resources for a changing world, and creates, nurtures and develops infrastructures of contemporary cultural conversation at a proximate as well as planetary scale.
