Title: A cyborg manifesto
Autor: Donna Haraway
This manifesto challenges traditional notions of feminism suggesting the idea that we are all chimeras, theorized and fabricated hybrids of machine and organism—in short, cyborgs. There is no distinction between natural life and artificial machines. The metaphor of the cyborg is used to promote a coalition through affinity, urging feminist women to move beyond established notions of gender and feminism. Cyborg politics involves the struggle for language and against perfect communication, opposing the central dogma of phallogocentrism.
